The Bookstore is Located at the Northwest corner of the library building. Enter by the outside stairwell to the basement. Handicapped access is through the library.

Hours:  Saturdays year-round from 9am-2pm

 

Donation Policy: 

Donations of gently used books are always welcome.  Please bring them directly to the bookstore during store hours.  If you are unable to drop off donation please contact us by phone at (631)268-0788 or email us at FriendsoftheHBPL@gmail.com.  Please DO NOT bring donations to the library on non-bookstore days unless by prior arrangement.  

Please DO NOT leave donations outside of the library or the bookstore. 

 

 

We DO NOT accept: 

  • Any books with odor, mildew or foxing

  • Reference collections (including but not limited to)

    • Encyclopedia sets

    • American Heritage sets

    • Textbooks or study guides more than 2 years old

    • Computer books more than 2 years old

    • Manuals
